As soon as one of many NBA’s most promising younger stars, Atlanta Hawks level guard Trae Younger might quickly be traded for pennies.

On Monday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that Younger and his brokers “are working with the franchise on a commerce,” with NBA insider Marc Stein revealing the Washington Wizards as a attainable vacation spot.

“The Wizards have emerged as a legit potential commerce vacation spot… in a deal development centered round CJ McCollum’s expiring contract,” Stein wrote.

The attainable commerce marks a big pivot for the Hawks, who made a concerted effort this offseason to encompass Younger with expertise in a bid to emerge from a wide-open Jap Convention, including Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Luke Kennard and Kristaps Porzingis.

By way of Atlanta’s first 37 video games, it is 17-20, a half-game forward of the Milwaukee Bucks (16-20, eleventh in Jap Convention) for tenth within the convention.
