    The previous Des Moines, Iowa, Public Faculties Superintendent who was illegally dwelling within the US as an ICE fugitive is a registered Democrat and obtained mail-in ballots in Maryland.

    ICE brokers final Friday arrested the Superintendent of Des Moines, Iowa, Public Faculties – an unlawful alien from Guyana with a previous weapons arrest.

    In line with Fox Information, Dr. Ian Andre Roberts was an energetic ICE fugitive with a deportation order since Could 2024. As quickly as ICE brokers recognized themselves, Roberts fled in his automobile and sped off. He then deserted his automobile and fled on foot. Federal brokers discovered him hiding in shrubbery and took him into custody.

    Brokers discovered a loaded handgun and a fixed-blade looking knife in Roberts’ car.

    Fox Information reported that ICE brokers recovered a loaded Glock 19 in Roberts’ car.

    Ian Roberts has been receiving mail-in ballots at his Maryland deal with since 2020 – and naturally, he’s a registered Democrat.

    Fox Information reported:

    After an unlawful alien, Ian Andre Roberts, the superintendent of the Des Moines Public Faculties in Iowa, was arrested by ICE, Republicans blew the whistle on the truth that he was a registered energetic Democrat voter within the state of Maryland.

    In line with the official web site for the Maryland State Board of Elections, Roberts, who overstayed a scholar visa from 1999, has an energetic voter standing and is registered as a Democrat in Maryland. The event was first reported on by columnist Dustin Grage.

    Republican state Delegate Matt Morgan, who’s chair of the Maryland Home Freedom Caucus, advised Fox Information Digital that Roberts’ registration means that he’s eligible to vote in all federal, state and native elections regardless of not being a U.S. citizen, and likewise regardless of probably not having lived in Maryland for the previous decade.

    Morgan defined that there’s nothing in Maryland legislation permitting for non-citizens to be registered to vote in federal or state elections even when Roberts have been nonetheless a authorized resident.
