    LVIV: NATO member Poland stated it scrambled plane early on Sunday (Oct 5) to make sure its air security after Russia launched airstrikes on Ukraine, with Ukrainian officers reporting missiles and drones raining down on the Lviv area close to the Polish border.

    “Polish and allied plane are working in our airspace, whereas ground-based air defence and radar reconnaissance methods have been dropped at the very best state of readiness,” Poland’s operational command stated in a put up on X.
