At a time of political problem and alter, voters in North Seattle would do nicely to return Democrat Gerry Pollet to Olympia.
Operating for his eighth full two-year time period, Pollet has been a longtime neighborhood chief, participating with residents to enhance public security on Aurora Avenue North, advocating for schooling funding — each Okay-12 and postsecondary — and ensuring state housing insurance policies embrace affordability and local weather resiliency.
Representing the forty sixth Legislative District, which incorporates Inexperienced Lake, Sandpoint and Northeast Seattle, Pollet is among the strongest champions of open authorities within the Legislature, lambasting efforts by fellow lawmakers to protect their communications from public view.
After years of advocacy, Pollet received an enormous victory in 2025 when the Legislature voted to extend funding for particular schooling and concurrently take away the cap on the variety of college students with disabilities that the state will cowl in every faculty district.

Pollet has served his constituents admirably and brought on worthy fights that nobody else may or would. He strongly deserves reelection to Legislative District No. 46, Place 1.
