    Glad 79th birthday to five-time Professional Bowler, two-time Tremendous Bowl champion and Tremendous Bowl VIII MVP for the Miami Dolphins, Larry Csonka!

    Csonka was a first-round decide by the Dolphins out of Syracuse within the 1968 draft, and posted 540 yards and 6 touchdowns in 11 video games as a rookie. He made his first of five-straight Professional Bowls beginning in 1970, and his first 1,000-yard marketing campaign in 1971 earned him a spot on his first All-Professional group. Csonka was a key piece of the Dolphins run to 3 straight Tremendous Bowl appearances from 1970-73, combining for 257 speeding yards and two TDs in Tremendous Bowls XVII and XVIII.

    After his days in Miami have been over, he performed one season for the Memphis Southmen of the World Soccer League in 1975 earlier than coming again to the NFL for 3 seasons with the Giants earlier than ending his profession again with the Dolphins in 1979. He retired with 8,081 speeding yards and 64 touchdowns in his profession en path to a Corridor of Fame induction in 1987.
