    WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump’s administration on Tuesday (Jan 28) provided federal staff the chance to go away their jobs in return for eight months’ severance, in accordance with a memo despatched to workers seen by AFP.

    The proposal, lauded by Trump advisor Elon Musk in a publish on X as a historic “fork within the street,” was despatched out to all two million federal staff, in accordance with US media.
