    Barely an hour later, Türkiye’s defence ministry confirmed one other ballistic missile fired from Iran had been intercepted in Turkish airspace by NATO defence methods within the second such incident in 5 days.

    “A ballistic munition launched from Iran and getting into Turkish airspace was neutralised by NATO air and missile defence property within the japanese Mediterranean,” it stated in a press release.
