    Political scientist Stephen Walt says President Donald Trump promised to make the US stronger, however lots of his insurance policies are making it weaker.

    United States President Donald Trump’s unpredictability isn’t strengthening the US place within the Iran warfare, as “the Iranians don’t have any cause to imagine something Trump tells them”, argues Stephen Walt, professor of worldwide relations at Harvard College.

    Walt tells host Steve Clemons that the warfare is now in a “hurting stalemate” the place “neither facet actually needs to escalate; they’re simply ready for the opposite facet to crack”.

    On the Palestinian-Israeli entrance, Walt doesn’t see a gap for a real political answer, as neither US get together is keen to exert strain on Israel, the place “there’s nonetheless a really robust dedication to ‘Larger Israel’”.
