    After the assault, police have been seen ushering a big group of largely Jewish aged males – some in tears, many wanting shocked – away from the synagogue. Some have been sporting white robes, others have been in fits and sporting a skullcap.

    Crawshaw stated she noticed about 30 folks being taken out, together with three younger youngsters, with three our bodies additionally dragged out from the constructing on orange stretchers.

    “I am appalled by the assault at a synagogue in Crumpsall,” Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated as he rushed away early from a European political gathering in Copenhagen to return to Britain to chair an emergency assembly.

    “The truth that this has taken place on Yom Kippur, the holiest day within the Jewish calendar, makes it all of the extra horrific.”

    Starmer stated that extra police have been being deployed to synagogues throughout the nation, including: “We’ll do every thing to maintain our Jewish group secure”.

    Britain’s King Charles stated he was “deeply shocked and saddened” to study of the assault, “particularly on such a major day for the Jewish group”.

    The Israeli embassy in London stated on X that the assault was “abhorrent and deeply distressing” and that it was in shut contact with the Manchester Jewish group.
