    Vance Says He’s Optimistic Gaza’s Stop-Fireplace Would Maintain

    Vice President JD Vance met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel in Jerusalem and mentioned that he was optimistic the Gaza cease-fire will maintain. Current flare-ups of violence in Gaza underscored the fragility of the truce.

    I believe that now we have a possibility to do one thing actually historic. So we’re going to maintain working at it. It’s not simple. I by no means mentioned it was simple, however what I’m is optimistic that the cease-fire goes to carry and that we will really construct a greater future in the complete Center East, however that requires some work. So it’s not about monitoring within the sense of, you realize, you monitor a toddler, it’s about monitoring within the sense that there’s a whole lot of work, a whole lot of good people who find themselves doing that work.
