    Business Insider (BI) experiences that the Federal Commerce Fee has opened an investigation into Publishing.com, an organization that sells programs on creating and promoting AI-generated books as a aspect hustle.

    Per BI, Publishing.com raked in almost $50 million in 2022. In 62 complaints obtained by the outlet, prospects sometimes spent $2,000, whereas some spent over $7,000 on programs and extra sources.

    Prospects complained to the FTC that Publishing.com used high-pressure gross sales ways, and was not forthcoming about how a lot extra cash prospects would have to be spent to publish, market and shut gross sales.
