Germany is going through every day “hybrid warfare” assaults from overseas, an official has stated, days after an explosive-laden drone was found at Leipzig/Halle Airport.
Inside Minister Alexander Dobrindt advised the native newspaper Bild am Sonntag on Sunday that international powers wished to subdue Germany politically and socially by stirring up concern.

The minister’s feedback come after a drone loaded with explosives was found on the Leipzig/Halle Airport in japanese Germany on Tuesday.

Germany plans to spice up anti-drone capability
Germany is planning to strengthen its capability to counter drones amid issues over the menace, Bild reported, citing authorities sources.
The newspaper stated Dobrindt’s ministry wished to double the federal authorities’s group of anti-drone consultants from 150 to 300 and improve its community of associated bases from 4 to eight.
Germany’s armed forces stated on Saturday that two drones had been noticed late on Thursday over a German army base website in Mechernich, within the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Individually, a drone exploded on Saturday in Bulgaria close to the Trans-Balkan fuel pipeline.
Bulgaria’s defence ministry stated there was no purpose to suspect the incident was intentional. Ukraine stated it was working with Bulgarian authorities to make clear the circumstances.
