4 years after Shireen Abu Akleh’s killing, her household continues to be searching for US-backed accountability.

It’s been 4 years since Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was killed by Israeli forces. In these years, her household has pushed the USA authorities for one factor: an unbiased investigation into her killing that results in actual accountability. The Take seems to be into the push for justice within the US, and why it’s been so tough to realize.

It is a story from the archives. This initially aired on September 5, 2022. Not one of the dates, titles or different references from that point have been modified.
