    LONDON: British Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed efforts to safe a “simply and lasting finish” to the struggle in Ukraine in a telephone name with US President Donald Trump on Sunday (Dec 21), Downing Road stated, following recent rounds of US-led talks with Russian, Ukrainian and European officers in Florida.

    Based on an announcement from Starmer’s workplace, the 2 leaders mirrored on the struggle and the position of the so-called Coalition of the Keen, a bunch of nations which have pledged to assist Ukraine. Starmer briefed Trump on the coalition’s work to assist underpin any future peace deal and guarantee a sturdy finish to hostilities.

    The decision got here a day after US negotiators met Russian officers in Florida because the Trump administration sought to push ahead a revised peace framework, after earlier talks with Ukrainian and European representatives.
