    Thousands of protesters rally against Trump across US

    WASHINGTON: 1000’s of protesters rallied in Washington and different cities throughout the US on Saturday (Apr 19) to voice their opposition to President Donald Trump’s insurance policies on deportations, government firings, and the wars in Gaza and Ukraine.

    Outdoors the White Home, protesters carried banners that learn “Employees ought to have the facility,” “No kingship,” “Cease arming Israel” and “Due course of,” media footage confirmed.

    Some demonstrators chanted in help of migrants whom the Trump administration has deported or has been making an attempt to deport whereas expressing solidarity with folks fired by the federal authorities and with universities whose funding is threatened by Trump.

    “As Trump and his administration mobilize using the US deportation machine, we’re going to manage networks and techniques of resistance to defend our neighbors,” a protester mentioned in a rally at Lafayette Sq. close to the White Home.

    Different protesters waved Palestinian flags whereas carrying keffiyeh scarves, chanting “free Palestine” and expressing solidarity with Palestinians killed in Israel’s struggle in Gaza.

    Some demonstrators carried symbols expressing help for Ukraine and urging Washington to be extra decisive in opposing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s struggle in Ukraine.
