    WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump mentioned on Thursday (Jun 11) that america will hit Iran “very onerous tonight” and can quickly take management of the nation’s oil and gasoline infrastructure.

    “In some unspecified time in the future within the not too distant future, we will probably be taking Kharg Island, and different oil infrastructure factors, and assume whole management of their oil and gasoline markets, very similar to we now have with Venezuela,” Trump mentioned in a Reality Social put up.

    The US and Iran have traded strikes for two straight days, pushing the Center East nearer to the resumption of a full-scale struggle.

    Hours after, US Central Command (CENTCOM) mentioned American forces started “further self-defence strikes” at 5.15pm on Wednesday Washington time – early Thursday in Iran – in response to what it known as Tehran’s “unwarranted and continued aggression”.

    Iranian media reported explosions throughout the south close to the Strait of Hormuz, with explosions heard in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm and Minab, and sources reporting hits by “enemy projectiles” in Kargan and Sirik.

    American forces “fired precision munitions on Iranian targets that posed a risk to US forces and worldwide industrial ships transiting regional waters”, CENTCOM mentioned.
